Hepatitis G

Hepatitis G virus (HGV) is a virus which is distantly related to Hepatitis C virus (HCV). Although infection with HGV is relatively common amongst the general population, very little is known about this infection, its clinical course or incubation period.

However, the rate of long term disease and complications due to infection with Hepatitis G is low.
