Are you a suitable candidate for Gastric Banding?
You would be most likely to benefit from the Adjustable gastric banding if:
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or above.

What are co-morbidities?
Co-morbidities are medical conditions that exist in co-incidence to an obese condition and are often a product of being overweight. Co-morbidities are an important factor in determining a patient's eligibility for adjustable gastric band surgery.
Co-morbidities include:-
