Assunta Hospital

Assunta Hospital was founded by a group of missionaries from the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM) in 1954.

The Hospital was built through the generosity of the public, Social Welfare Department, local and government grants. It was one of the first private hospitals in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. In 1961 the Hospital started the first private nursing school in the country.

Accommodation includes presidential, executive suites, deluxe, single, double and four-bedded rooms. All rooms have been designed with the latest in comfort and convenience from patient beds to 'stay-over' visitor facilities.

Deluxe suites: The luxurious suites are spacious, air-conditioned with attached lounge areas and bathrooms. Each suite is equipped with telephone, television, refrigerator, microwave oven and nurse-call facility. All single rooms are air-conditioned with attached bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a telephone and nurse-call facility.

Operating Theatres are available 24 hours for planned and emergency operations. The Operating Theatres are equipped with up-to-date equipments.
