Taiwan, welcome to the bandwagon!
Taiwan is demanding a share of the medical tourism pork pie. In typically organised fashion, the country’s hospitals have banded together to create a project group with the intention of earning rvenues of $215 over the next three years. Key area for development are hip replacements, liver transplants and various cardio and craneo-facial surgeries. The challenge will be to distinguish themselves from the Phillipines and Singapore and Thailand.
The key task will be marketing and sales channel development. A challenge within the marketing project is to identify the market for Taiwan!
