Fixed-Fixed Ceramic Bridge (3 units) is a conventional procedure for replacing a missing tooth.
Description
A bridge is a fixed prosthesis used to replace one or more missing teeth by using teeth on either side of the gap(s).
The teeth on either side of the gap are prepared by the dentist to accept the bridge retainers (the two end units which will support the replacement tooth). An impression is then taken and sent to a laboratory for the bridge to be made. A temporary bridge will normally be fitted in the interim period.
Once the bridge is ready, it is permanently fixed in place using special adhesives. Bridges should last between ten to twenty years, however the dentist will give you a more accurate prognosis in your circumstance.
